Don’t worry if you aren’t a Country style person, this has a variety of design styles represented, with the through line of Small Space Decorating.

As a designer, I thrive on challenges and Small Space Decorating is one of the most intriguing issues related to Interior Design. I still have detailed sketches of a studio apartment project I worked on in grad school. *VeryBigGrin*

I am still reading it, but I got pretty far into it last night and the pictorials/articles are quite intriguing.

They have several Resource articles, and there were a couple of cool space saver ideas that caught my eye.

One was a combination shower curtain rod/towel rod. This means that you can leave the shower curtain closed so it will dry out AND still be able to hang towels so THEY can dry out. How cool is that?

ASIDE — I have always wondered why standard towel racks are narrower that standard bath towels are? You can’t really spread a towel out to dry on the rack… hence hanging them on the shower curtain rod. This nifty solution takes care of the towel on the shower curtain rod quite elegantly.

In practical terms… I would love to try one out, just to see if it works or is annoying! LOL

I will admit that I have been known to overlook many annoyances if the object in question is cool enough from a design standpoint!

Anyway, I am enjoying this magazine and I am looking forward to settling in tonight and finishing it!
