			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>With 2 designers in the family, it isn&#8217;t often that I run across a color name that I can&#8217;t readily ID, but it happend a few days ago.</p>
<p>I was reading a Regency romance and the color *CERISE* was mentions.</p>
<p>I drew a COMPLETE BLANK!</p>
<p>I asked Jeffrey what color *cerise* was and he just looked at me, so&#8230; on to Wikipedia!</p>
<p>I looked it up and we looked at the swatch (Jeffrey was looking over my shoulder) and we just had to laugh&#8230;</p>
<p>It turns out that *cerise* is an intense red/pink and it is almost identical to the Raspberry Rush that is our current living room color. Raspberry Rush has an underlying orange tone that is obvious in bright sunlight, but allowing for monitor display quirks, cerise and Raspberry Rush are pretty darn close!</p>
